R-12 to R-134a conversion

I installed the conversion on my 89 4 runner. SR5 with a 22RE.

The LP fitting sits right below a coolant elbow coming off of the manifold and makes it impossible to put the filler hose on to charge the system.

Anyone else run into this problem and also for people who have done the conversion what kit and where did you get it?

Thanks

Follow the low pressure line (labeled "S" on the compressor and the larger in diameter of the two) towards the evaporator core. If there is another, it will be between the compressor and the firewall on this line.

When I converted the one on my Chevy p/u I simply changed the drier, compressor and oil (old compressor was bad), and expansion valve along with adding the correct fittings to the lines.
If you want the most out of the system you will also want to ad an electric cooling fan to the front of the condensor to push air across the it and aid in lowering overall system pressures. R134a runs higher pressures than R12. This will also require charging to about 85-90 percent of the original capacity.
