There was a round like this several years ago for home defense..

problem is, if you have to shoot someone wearing clothes, the round separates before entering the body cavity. it becomes less effective and more like an FMJ round.

looks great in ballistic gel and a pig cadaver, but (although deadly) not as effective on something wearing clothes.

I'm not exactly sure what kind of mods they did to the machine pistols they shot these things out of.

I doubt that it'd feed reliably in most modern 9mm semis.
