R.I.P. Big Runner

Buddy of mine wrecked his '89 4R the other night and destroyed the thing. Went off the road and smacked a telephone pole, knocked down the pole killed the power for a few hundred houses, flipped his truck on the drivers side and caught some grass on fire. He walked away with a busted lip, and hurt pride. His truck is destroyed. So many memories just gone. :( R.I.P. Big runner, much love from the baby runner :sobbing::sobbing::moping:

Wow, that must have been quite an impact! However, I'm very impressed that he walked away with only a busted lip, since there was no air-bag.

An Arb bull bar is on my "want list". I think it just moved up a couple notches on that list. . .

I agree it looks just ready for a full on rock crawler conversion. Glad your buddy is ok.

Loved my 89 all those years ago! It only had a 4cyl engine that I swapped to Chev V8 on LPG gas. Loved that thing!

He's gonna get it back from the insurance company. He wants to buy another 89 and build it up from what parts he has on it. ex. lift, tires, all parts that have been replaced. And i might try and snag a few parts from him too. but he won't let it go to waste, and i won't let it go to waste to much time and memories.
