Rack crossbars - need cushion

Trying to fine tune my boat hauling. Already have Yakima Lowrider racks. Have 3 kayaks I haul separately at times, however one is a Hobie Revolution which prefers to be upside down, then I can't use the saddles.

And I can't use the canoe type gunnel mounts either, the roundness of the yak won't fit flush on the 90degree mounts. I may consider cutting the top of the mounts to clear the boat, but before I do that....

At this point I'm looking for a nice solution, like aftermarket crossbar pads that would mount on the slender non-round factory crossbars and cushion the bumps to the gunnels. No pool noodles, pipe insulation ziptie homebrews, unless it looks nice. Already tried some of that, they tore up along the way.

This would let my boat mount a bit lower, which is good. FYI, it weighs about 60pounds. I'm aware of the Yakima crossbar pads, hope to check those out at dealer soon, however any other options out there besides Yakima and Thule products?

The lowrider rack is fast on/off, so not worried about removal as needed.

Thanks!

the shop that sold you the kayaks will most likely throw you some pads for free if you ask... of course they will have their company name written across them
