Racks for Carbines - Your Experiences

Looking for cab mounts for carbine rifles/shot guns experiences for 5th gen 4R's. Plenty of "rear window" racks here in Texas for PU's. Vertical mounts that are common in LE vehicles are interesting but are conspicuous. Other suggestions are welcome for example horizontal on the interior roof.
Please feel free to share your experiences. Blue hair'd nose ringers need not reply.

I might suggest a DIY wooden "lean-to" kind of storage for the rear seat area. You can keep your long-guns pointing safely upward when driving, and they're reasonably accessible after you step out - you do have to open the back door before you can grab-and-go... you'll have to assess whether (or not) this suits you.

Be creative. Wrap 2x2's with soft material. you can even drape a blanket or cloth over the rear-seat contents, for times when discretion is appropriate.

The 4Runner front-seating area is a little cramped (IMHO), and long-gun storage up front seems more "hazard" than "helpful". If you are off-roading or travelling bumpy forestry roads, I'd suggest practical, safe separation of humans and barrels.

Thanks for mentioning me. I'm not on this forum anymore simply because it's too hard to use / ads / redirects as compared to 4runners dot com, where I do hang out.

OP, there's an easy way to run the aforementioned SBR1G off the nuts internal to the headliner if you remove the "coat hooks" in the cargo area and bolt the unit up to them. Some trial and error and reversing / inverting various brackets can get a long gun snugged quite tightly up against the headliner so it's not visible from the outside and is not in your field of view. See below image.

Beyond that, I had previously placed OP on ignore for chronic aggravation so I'm disinclined to offer further information at the expense of my time, but OP can certainly look at the other forum and search accordingly for a plethora of install info.
