The only defense you might have in that situation is the police radar another car ahead or behind you first and you detect the 'scatter' coming from that contact

I will be doing this again soon with county sheriff so I'll keep you posted on how many more people complain about their state of the art detectors.

I agree, unless you tail someone who is speeding, there is no way out of being hit by laser. Detectors will catch it when you or someone else infront of you gets hit.

One thing to watch out for is when you see allot of tail lights braking at a distance ahead of you. That means they spotted a cop somewhere.

How about jammers, do they really work?
