radio cuts out!!!

my 05 runner today decided the radio would turn off and on as I hit the brakes, I have no idea what would cause this and wonder if anyone here would possibly know or have had this issue.

Check for a loose connection to the radio.

I forgot to mention all my gauges dropped and went back up as well
