radio goes static when rear defrost turned on :(

so this is the first time ive used the rear defrost, and the radio goes full static as soon as i turn the rear defrost on. im assuming im gonna need a new rear window, im gonna check all the connections just to make sure its nothing obvious though

is it all the stations you try or just one? if i turn on the rear defrost i lose one station and one station only, and its not even total static

its all stations and you can hear nothing but static

I would suggest checking the quality of the ground circuit for the defroster grid. Poor grounds can cause radio static.

yeah tomorrow im gonna take a good look at everything back there. was to snowy today to do that. also gonna install the daystar budget boost i bought.

if it needs a window i may talk to my work (thats where i just bought it from) and see if they will pay for it. i just bought it from them, but got them to give me about 1500-2g's extra on my trade in, so i really dont wanna ask them to drop cash on this
