Radio Install Questions

I have a '06 SR5 and how do i find out if there is a factory amp for the interior speakers. Now an Eclipse DVD/Navi headunit is installed but it hasn't worked at all since I bought the 4runner. I don't believe it has the JBL speakers either as it doesn't have any emblems anywhere. I am ordering a new double din dvd player and am trying to figure out what wiring harness I need to install it. Thanks for any help.....

You wont have a factory amp unless you have the jbl system, and it would be in the rear cargo area on the right behind the panel. Before I bought a new unit I would take the old one out and make sure all the connections are good-

Thanks for the help, yeah there is no amp there just the spare tire tools. The eclipse unit is defimetly a gonner the lcd screen comes on but has lines going across it and none of the buttons work. So time for a new JVC double din can't wait for it to arrive.

If anyone wants the GPS and SAT radio attachments for an eclpise radio let me know I will have no use for them........

Its on the opposite side of where you found the spare tire tools. Passenger side behind the panel.

If your old eclipse deck has a video input connector, the one that has red white and yellow RCA conectors, I would be interested.
