Static when Rear Defrost is on...
I have noticed that there is some static on certain stations when the rear defrost is on. I chalked it up to the fact that I replaced the factory stereo with a Scion head unit and since the Scion only has 1 antenna input (the large one) I had to use electrical tape to tape off the secondary antenna input.
I would be curious to know if anyone else has found a solution. I think it really only happens when the dual antenna is switching back and forth to find the best signal.

No issues noted with the standard factory radio setup.
