radio removal

Do I really have to take most of the interior out to remove the radio? that seems really excessive...

Wow, why would you need to do that? There are instructions everywhere, the bezel around the shifter pops out, pull out the pocket below radio, 2 bolts behind it and some under shifter bezel. Pop off the Grey around radio and HVAC controls, and DONE!!. Google it or youtube it.

There's a video on youtube showing it. I can do it in under 5 min. A ratchet with a 10mm socket on a 6" extension works perfect. The rear window switch connector is the only one I use a pocket screwdriver on, the rest all unclip easily.

It's really not bad, pop the pieces out around the shifter, and it's a few 10 mm bolts

lol so i may have exaggerated a bit. i know its not the whole interior but it is far more than the 07 tacoma i came from. giving it a shot tonight so wish me luck!
