when i turn off my 03 4runner v8 ltd the radio and also the driver information system stay on. over night this will drain the battery even with the radio turned off manually. had this problem once before and put graphite in the ignition cylinder figuring mabye something was stuck but that trick is not working this time. also the rear wiper/washer/defrost will not work. the rear window will not go down with the remote or the key in the tailgate but will with dash button. tried the lowering of the rear window with the dash button to reset the system but no luck. one time the window went down about 6" with the remote button but that was it. getting pretty frustrated please help. thany you in advance.

Give us some details.
1. Any electronic device installed before the problems started occuring (or since)?
2. Have you tried re-setting the computer?
3. Have you checked for shorts, bad fuses, connectors, harnesses, anything like that?
I am no electronics expert, just trying to help you with a response. Perhaps if you answer these, others with more knowledge will chime in.

no electronics installed, do not know how to reset the computer, and i have checked fuses under dash and under hood. when i had this problem before i put graphite in the ignition key cylinder and it had seemed to fix the problem. i was thinking that mabye something was stuck in the the ignition key hole. thank you for replying. how do you reset the computer? any advise on the rear defrost/wiper/washer/window?
