Radio Text Display

Is there anyway to get the entire artist's name or the entire title of the song to appear on the radio unit? I notice that with XM, it only displays a certain number of letters, so with songs that have long names, you only get to see part of it. In my dad's silverado, it will display the entire title of the song - didn't know if there was a way to do that in the 4R.

Also, with some radio stations in my area, I can pick up the station name, artist, and song name on the head unit. However, I've noticed that in the 4R it just picks up a bunch of nonsense - random letters that don't make words. Again, this doesn't happen in my dad's silverado. Don't know if this is something fixable or not. Anyone have any ideas?

There is a way. You just press the text button on the right side of the radio.

I think he means the entire name of the artist or song. Even after pressing the text button, if the name is long, some of it will be cut off.
