radio tuner is RDS-enabled ?

Is the stock head unit on my '08 4RNNR RDS enabled ?

the button which says "TEXT" means RDS.

RDS is the feature that allows the radio to display the song you're listening to from the RADIO TUNER. While tuned to 97.1 (any frequency) and the song tittle is displayed then YES. Push the TEXT button to double check if nothing is displayed and change the station. Some stations do not display song tittle some do.

Since you have a button labeled "TEXT" I'm going to assume YOU HAVE RDS.

I know (from others pics) that this is NOT the JBL model ... because I don't see it written across the front

Are there "standard" model radios with RDS ? ... maybe that would tell me ...
