Rain Deflectors

Hey everyone,
Do you all prefer rain deflectors? What kind of Rain Deflectors do you all use for your windows? Also if you don't mind me asking how much were they and where did u get them? Also is there anyway that you could post pictures of them on your 4Runner?

Your talking about window visors. The best would be Weather Tech Visors (in channel) IMO. They look the best to me and Weather Tech is a reputable company.

Personally I have the Auto Vent Shade brand, and I dont really like em, but they serve their purpose, so I kept them. Here is a pic.

I have the AutoVentshade brand as well. They are inchannel. I like them but when my windows roll up they are very tight. They have been on for roughly 2 years and I think my windows are starting to crap the bed because of the constant pressue on them when closed. I could be wrong. The in-channel look so much better but my next Runner I am going to use the regular deflectors as I don't want to risk the window motors dying on me. Just my 2 cents. Others may not have any problems.

WeatherTech is by far the most highly rated vent visors. Toyota does not make their own, dealerships will carry or order Auto Vent Shades though, I checked before purchasing these.

I loved the Weathertech's (the look, the function, and installation took all of 5 minutes for all 4), but she didn't, she complained that it caused the wind blow in her face, she's 5'2" and I'm 6' so that may be the difference, since it's her DD, I removed them and put them up for sale.

i got the Weathertech. First i bought the autoventshade brand, crappy quality enough said. Though the Weathertech costs more, but you really get what you paid for, high quality and good craftsmanship. and it is superior than any other brand of rain deflectors.

i purchased a set for my 4R when i took the delivery, put them on for 3 days and returned back to dealership. i forgot what brand were they and they are the in-channel type, i mean they look very nice on the 4R but the reason i took them of is because there was a lot of wind noise. specially over 55mph. i can't stand on the wind leaking noise in the cabin so i gave up the look and prefer the quietness of my 4R. it maybe happened on me or a few users. i have a customer who has a 06 SE, he got the visor and he complains on the wind noise too.
