Rain-X?

Do any of you guys use Rain-X on your windows? How long does that stuff usually last?

Used it on my old car. It's great the first week or two. After that, it dirt sticks and makes it worst. Normally, without Rain-X, dirt will just hose off, but Rain-X treated glass, it takes scrubbing.

I prefer to use Klasse All-In-One on the glass. Same effect as Rain-X, except it doesn't attract dirt or make dirt stick.

I find Rain-X to be like Armor All, once you applied, it you need to keep on applying it.

I use it, and use the Rain-X windshield washer fluid as my standard window cleaner. Just put in a spray bottle.

I love Rain-X. I hardly ever use my windshield wipers, even in really heavy rain. I apply it every time I wash the vehicle or maybe every other time.

I just put it on the front, back, and two side windows.

I've never had any issues with Rain-X becoming a problem after it's been applied and it usually lasts a few months on the windshield and a lot longer on all the other windows.

Not that bosmob needs any more convincing, but to anyone else wondering Rain X my results with it have been fantastic as well. You can get it in the bottle, but I would get the spray bottle preferably. It always lasts me at least a few weeks, and if you get Rain X washer fluid it lasts even longer. Rain X not only repels water, but unlike Uneek, my results find it makes bugs and derbis stick much less to the windshield, and consumer reports found it prolongs the life of wiper blades (I want my Bosch to last a while). No one else mentioned it so I might as well, but it works great on the mirrors. Keeps any rain off from the high speed air currents.
