Rainy Day in Arizona

I had just had my truck washed this weekend when we got a full out rain storm in Phoenix today. We had to run to the store, but while we were out, I saw a big empty dirt lot turned to mud, so with the kids in the truck, I turned in and slipped in 4wd and we slung mud everyplace.

I think our youngest may have wet his pants he was laughing so hard. Lot's of fun and they enjoyed it. They truck was dirtier than it looks, but the rain cleaned her off on the way home.

When it stops raining, $9 at Danny's Car Wash. I normally do it myself, but I told the Wife if I took my truck out today, then I'm paying the $9. I'm on vacation this week and I don't want to be washing vehicles (if you know what I mean).

It looked like you had a lot of fun. It is good to get the kids trained at an early age. I guess it was worth messing up your clean truck for a little fun in the mud!!

Tomorrow morning before starting it, I will push it out onto the driveway and give the undercarrige a good spray so I don't hurt the engine. I don't want to spray it while it might be warm, you can really damage it. There are huge clumps of mud all over the bottom and on the suspension.

Years ago my brother turned the hose on the engine in his car while it was still warm and cracked the block. I've been real carfull ever since then.
