Raleigh NC Lift Install Shop

Hello all. I am going to be taking delivery of a '15 TEP W/KDSS in the next week or two (waiting on it to get here) and shortly after (probably October time frame) will be installing a ICON lift (already purchased). Does anyone have a recommendation of a good shop to use to install the lift. Preferably somewhere that does a lot of Toyota's and KDSS experience would be huge plus. I come from a background of sports cars so not familiar with the off road type shops in the area.

If there is a local member who has done this type of lift before (specifically the KDSS part) and would be willing to help that is also an option as I am not opposed to doing it myself I just don't have the equipment to DIY at the moment.

You got 4wheelparts on Glenwood but I'm sure their schedule is full. ECGS is just up the road from them and plenty capable of doing it.
 
its so damn easy to do yourself if you even just a little bit mechanically inclined. there are plenty of good tutorials on here and elsewhere. check youtube for the arb no spring compressor method

I agree I have done a handfuls of suspension installs over the years my issue is that I just moved into a new place and don't have the space/tools to do it and no network of friends here who do. Hence the comment about a fellow member who has done it and would be willing to help for some pizza and beer :)

no space is a fair complaint. Current house has no garage, so consequently I do nearly all my work on the cul-de-sac. as far as tools, all you really need is your floor jack, a hammer, and a half way decent socket set. box wrenches help, but are not absolutely necessary.

This is my backup plan once I get everything moved and out of storage.
 
If you're still looking for help, I've got a big 'ol carport and plenty of tools to get it done. I've done all the work on mine. I should warn you though: I know nothing about the KDSS system (don't have it and have never dealt with it).

To you other guys... I'd love to meet some other Runner owners up here (just moved from FL) and maybe even go get em dirty... that is why we do this, right?... Right?...

Just FYI but 4wheel on Glenwood quoted me $650 for 5100s all around with rear cornfed spacer and alignment for my 5th gen.
 
Glad to know there's some folks on here from Raleigh. I'm near Five Points and have done all of my own work on my truck. I have all of the necessary tools, but my garage is too damn small for my 4Runner. However, let me know if anyone needs any help. Also, if anyone has any interest in heading down to Uwharrie for the day, just say.
 
Good to know. I ended up doing the install myself in my driveway and wasn't too bad. Would have been nice to have a lift and second set of hands though haha.
