Ram Mount - Laptop Mount

A quick seach of the forums lead me to www.ram-mount.com for a laptop mount. :D . There are 2 products available, one with a ball mount, and one with a swivel mount. I'd like to hear from anyone who has one of these installed or seen them installed in regards to the amount of space they take away from the passenger area. Is it still possible to have someone in the front seat with one of these mounts installed? Can they be removed when not needed (only use for offroading) and it not look like something's been ripped out of the truck? Is there an signficant advantage of the the swivel vs ball mount.

THANX!

I'm looking as well ... has anyone found anything that works well for them? Ideally something that could be easily removed.

I have the ram mount in my 03, had it in a Tahoe before, just had to get the new plate for the seat bolts, there are options to set it up, and yes easy to remove with right options, one is as easy a pulling a pin, other a wing nut.
I dont use ram's laptop desk part, I made my own out of some plywood and installed a slide out mouse pad there, but its solid and steady and swings arround as I need it.
