Ran my fogs through the hatch boot, easy job, went quick!

I had been dreading running my wires for my fogs, anticipating it being difficult to fish the wires. I even went to toyota and bought a bag of trim clips in anticipation of breaking many of them. I got this one today and it went a lot easier than I thought.

• First I popped the hatch boot off.
• I then popped the two access covers on the drivers side in the jack area.
• I peeled back the trim a bit around the upper back and fished the wires to the jack area.....super easy.
• Then I got the fish tape through the boot and pulled the wires through there.
• fished from jack area to passenger side
• fished passenger rocker to driver rocker
• finally fished from engine bay to dead pedal area

The only trim pieces I actually had to remove were the hatch boot, the drivers rocker, passengers rocker and dead pedal area......I peeled back the trim a little around the hatch and a little around the passenger side, but thats it, here are some pictures.

You will definitely want to use a trim tool set. I used a cheap fish tape from Harbor Freight. I ran 16awg, which is more than enough for 2 fogs (1.5A each, maybe 15-20ft run of cable). I made the smallest of holes in the boot at a high location which generally shouldn't get water in it. I also heat shrink the cables before pulling them thru the boot and may go back and apply some sealant for good measure.
