Rancho Quicklift

I've searched using Google and the search function to no avail. I've only found one photo (@Rattlesnake44) that shows any 5th gens are using a Rancho lift. Rancho seems like a pretty common name in lifting American trucks, but I've never seen them on a Toyota.

Can anybody share first hand experience with this brand, or more specifically this kit?

I have one on my tundra. It is the 9000 series shock so the ride is adjustable. My truck is just for work, it has stock tires, no bumpers and lots of miles. It was time to replace the front struts and I found the quick strut for a very good deal on partsgeek.com so I gave them a shot.

It's Rancho (made by Tenneco) so the quality seems okay and they leveled my truck out. Now I just wish I had done the Rancho quick struts before I had bought new tires, because it looks a little dumb with a 29" tire and a leveling kit.

FWIW we also put these on the other shop truck (2008 Z71)... For the price as an oem replacement that also acts as a leveling kit....I say why not?

I have a set , pretty happy with them overall . But the lower bushing is not great fit and quality.

Are you running stock suspension in the rear or did you buy Rancho shocks for the rear also? If you did, what model?

I used the Rancho RS9000's in the rear. They work great. Stock height in rear.

Ranchos are pretty well known as garbage. Twintube design, similar to OEM, but much lower quality. Bilsteins 5100s are what, like $300?
