Installed on my little 4runner about a month ago.
They say:
Rancho's RS9000 shocks have a 9-position knob on the shock body that lets you adjust compression and rebound damping for precise ride control.
Other features include:
* Tri-lube, mono-flow, cellular gas design
* 15-stage valving
* Variable Force Control for precise oil-flow metering
* 1 3/8 in. piston
* Graphite-impregnated Teflon® band
* 5/8 in. hardened and chromed piston rod
* Double-welded mounting loops with bright red urethane bushings
* Red convoluted boot to protect the shaft
I say:
Good ride and does well off road. Handles small jumps and whoops GREAT! As for the adjustable valving it is my opinion it is a gimmick or I'm just not sensitive enough to detect the differences when I change the setting.
There was no instructions included in the packaging as to how to tune or set the valve.
