Rancho Shocks....

does anyone here run them? i used to use ranchos on my dodge truck and liked them, but here seems like most folks like bilstein better. just wondering why?? I have a 1997, so 3rd gen owners are whose opinions i'm most interested in

Im running Rancho 9000's in the rear, haven't installed them in front yet. (waiting for new springs) They ride much better than the factory shocks, (replaced at 100,000). I also got the My Ride system which allows you to adjust the Stiffness of the shock from inside the cab, it is very nice when towing, on driving on the occasional bumpy road.

The shop that installed my lift had to replace struts, recommended Ranchos for the price, i have no complaints!

I just bought a set 15 minutes ago, unfortunately no sears around me had them in stock. they were $41.99 per shock on the RS5000 plus tax and shipping.

It sucks cause im in a rush to get them because i just found out one of my shocks are busted and are just laying there.

They say there is a lifetime warranty on the shocks.

I also heard they were way better than stock.

I have the RS5000's front and rear and they ride great. No complaints especially for the price.

yo if you bought them from sears, sears is running a special today $10 of a purchase of $75+ and free shipping, The code was EXCLUSIVE . they price adjusted it for me after i ordered. It went from $99.25 to just under $80 shipped to my door for 2 RS5000's.

well if they fell stock thats fine for me, im running 1 shock in the rear and its not a good one.

I got Rancho R9000 shocks on the back of my Tacoma. That was the first mod I made. The first time I towed my boat I knew I could not live with the stock suspension. It was like jello back there. I thought about having the leaf springs stiffened but wanted to retain a smooth ride when not towing so I ordered the Ranchos that have a 9 way adjustment. I tow on either 8 or 9. Daily driving on 4 or 5.

Pretty soon Im gonna do the 881/906 ome lift and want to know if the rancho shocks would work well and be comfortable for my lift. Im really debating shocks cause I don't have a ton to spend. Ranchos I can get pretty cheap so I wanted to see if they would work good for me. Im 99% onroad and the wife and kids are usually in the 4runner so its needs to have a smooth ride. Going on a 97 2wd runner. thanks all
