Random 3.4 Wires

New to this site. Been on YotaTech for years. Was recommended to you guys.

Just bought this 1999 4R donor to swap the 3.4 into my 88 3.0.

Found this random snipped wire. Doesn't effect car's performance. (It's wrecked in the back, but still drivable.) No engine light for it either.

A friend had the idea that it might have been the alarm. Alarm works fine.

Any ideas? Thanks.

It looks like a wire for the Beeper (alarm) or the power antenna.

I'm guessing it is after-market or port/dealer installed (like many alarms). All the factory wires I have seen are solid or solid with a stripe. I have never seen anything on my truck with those red dots like that.
