Range ridding and the creation a monster

Here was my Sunday afternoon.... decided to go do some exploring out on the Eglin Range. Tomorrow will be a lot more fun, seeing as I talked my buddy into bringing his Z71 out. It was fun but pretty risky going by myself with only a heavy duty ratchet strap in case of getting stuck. The last hole I went through was scary enough to make me turn around, make like a baby and head out. Hitting it from the other direction wasn't as bad, she walked right out whereas the 1st time through it was a crawl to get out. This is by far the best 4x4 I've ever had even with stock suspension, which rides like a Caddy and on street tires. Both of these will be changed next weekend. Awesome, 2 big mods in one day, she's not gonna what happened to her. :frisky::cheers:

Just playing around with stock flex, not bad.


This hole is about 3mi in, lets just say I found my way around it.

Good luck with the mods. Thanks for pics and nice story. I'm running the Kumho's 265/75's on stock and they're great on and off road won't be disappointed. I'm about to start buying 285's I guess for winter since prices went way up in price. Rotated and balance them before the weekend and went on a 120 mile journeyto and from and they still ride great with over 40k. Just be sure you rotate them ever other month.

I'm still sceptical on if I want the 285's or stick with the 265's. I'll be buying the same tires though.

You plan to take those running boards off too right? Careful with them sand dunes too btw lol
