Rarest 3rd gen of them all?

I have a 1999 manual, v6, 4x4, 5 speed, cloth, e locker and supercharger. e locker and supercharger where on it when sold new. I have not seen or heard of any other 1999 that was sold with this package.

Supercharger was not on it when it was new. 5-speed with E-locker is on the rarer side, but you can already find dozens in this thread. Cloth isn't rare.

Curious why. Do you say that because all SCs were installed by dealers as an upgrade or that this particular build spec couldn't get the TRD SC option? I have a sport hood off a 99 with a sticker 'TRD Supercharger legal in 50 states....etc." that I'm pretty sure came from the dealer.

Because dealers slap on whatever the customer requests. If you have a V6 3rd gen, you can have a supercharger. There's nothing on a build sheet that would include a supercharger.

The SC was not a *FACTORY* option - it was dealer installed only. It could have been on there when sold new though.

Alarms, trailer hitch+wiring, side steps, roof racks and rear wind deflector were often port or dealer installed too.

Gotcha. Not 'Factory' but could be delivered to the customer pre-installed when it was 'New'.
