i knoe u didnt install it, or can afford it lol, i cant afford it too, we both some broke ass teens, that jackhammer is crazy, u knoe u can find that video clip of that on pimp my ride on some site, i knoe that im 100% sure u dont got that lol, u cant even afford some nice speakers and amps lol. well wat subs u goin nows, if ur around oakland, i wouldnt mind tryin to help u get 2 rockford fosgate p1 10inch with box and the 3001 amp for about 300-350, its cheap stuff but its better than nothin. this is brand new directly from my audio shop manager, yes u will get price raped if u dont noe them lol

Haha. Yah I wish I had this.

I'm getting speakers first, my mp3 just broke so I need to buy a new one first. Sigh.. but I havne't deiced on an amp, I might just save up for a JL 5 channel.

I got to get in the shower and get ready for school, i'm goign to be late cause i had to watch that video.
But I'll post more hwen I get back.
 
im really gona try to hook u up if u willin to spend some cash on subs, amps and speakers, thats a goood 400bucks well spent on the subs and amp and install lol, its better to have something than nothing
 
Right now, I'm so broke I'm not spending much. My birthday is aroudn the corner so I might get some mroe money. However I do need a new iPOD since my mp3 player just broke. But on top of that I'm getting a job. So the money should be some time soon.

I plan on getting some CDTs up front. Some cheaper under 50$ 4" in my rear.

How much would both of that cost to get installed?

And when I get the money, im going to start shopping for an amp, wont be for like a month or two though. I'm really liking this one JL audio amp but its like $500 on ebay. I've also been eyeing some cheaper diamond and phoenix gold amps.

For the subs, I don't know yet. But I'm looking at 1x 12" Resonant Engineering RE. Cheap and efficient, but I'm going to get my speakers first, and then an amp, and then the sub.
 
And I have one more question, my head unit puts out 27 RMS x 4.

If I get CDTs which run at 100 RMs, would the head unit be able to power it even though it runs no where near 100 RMS? I kno wI will be under powering it, but won't it be better tha nmy current factory speakers?

Thats actually pretty cheap considering its usually 7499. But I guess that sub was on pimp my ride and they had to install a guage that would tell you if it was coming near what the human ear can handle so you dont go deaf
 
heres wat u should do, call audiomobile of oakland, 510-839-1992 ask for the manager alan, and tell him that me (thomas with white 96 4runner) sent u there, u can also ask him how much it will cost to install them speakers, since its a shop for car alarms and stereo work, they got displays of amps, u can also ask for a price quote, it doesnt hurt to ask him about price of amps and speakers they got there, audiomobile do some top noch work, remember its located in oakland chinatown so yea asian owners lol 307 11th st, oakland CA, 94607, im sure u 2 can work out a deal. once u start doin some bussiness there, u might get deals there.
 
Cool. How long of a drive is it from SF? Anyway to avoid getting shot on the drive through oakland? Haha. I'll probably visit the weekend after this cause I got some work to do this weekend.

I just hapepned to run into a nice 96 4runner with like 20 inch rims on 19th ave in San Frnacisco today. He was asian and he was coming from the direction of oakland, i know its a long shot but could it have been you? Would be kind of weird if it was.

nope thats not me, thats some other asians gangsta lol. all i have is a 96 base 4runner, once i have the money about 10 grand or so, its goin to some 20inch asanti af 128 rims that is 20 by 9.5, it will be one some hankook tires thats 274/40-r20, and wit the performance product 1inch lift spring and the 4wd billstien shocks, since mines a 4x2 i juss need that shock, right now all it got is tinted windows from the back doors to trunk, with stock 15 rims, and i still got the firestone wilderness at tire, its almost 10 years old, my dad bought the car in may 1996, and that spare tire only got 10 miles on it. ull only noe its my 4runner if it got a blue alarm led on the center of my dash at the top btween the vents, and ull also noe if its my car if u check the milage, its about to hit 68k soon, dont u guys think my car is kinda low milage?and also im bald headed so i should b notice, juss like everywhere i go, i get stared at like a suspect, its kuss im bald and asian lol

I didn't literaelly think I was goign to get shot, was just making a joke since Oakland is kind of known for being ghetto.
 
dont we all live in the ghetto? im surrounded by mexicans and blacks, theres no white people here, except the ones that works at the mental hospital 2 blocks from my house, theres barley asians on this block
