Rattle sound when in gear

hey - i noticed a metal vibration or rattling sound when i put my truck in gear. im pretty sure this is a skid or shield rattling, not the transmission or engine...
had coworker put in gear so i could hear it, sounded like from muffler area but i didnt see any hangers rusted off or loose...i need to confirm skid plate,
any other ideas? i dont hear this when the truck is moving over 5 or 10 mph. just usually when its shifted into gear and vibrating a bit more, thats when i hear it.

Could be your exhaust tip rubbing against your hitch if you have one equipped. Or it could be the inside of your muffler broken loose and rattling. Just a few guesses on my end.

Mines was driver's side cat shield. Threw a hose clamp at it.
