Hi all, I am new to this forum even though I've been driving T4R since 96. I drove my 06 SR5 196,000+ miles virtually free of any rattles...at all, including the sun roof! Im-pressed!
So, as luck would have it...or actually the lack there of...I'm about to buy an 03 LTD GP V8 and when I test drove it I noticed a rattle coming from the roof. I'm 99% positive that it's in the sunroof. The boys at the stealership weren't too keen about discussing it. Just to charge me 270 dollars to find out though

I thought that I had read somewhere that this was not an uncommon problem. They said that its probably the rail system and that it costs 13-1600 dollars to repair! :jaw drop: Has anyone here experienced this problem? What did it end up being and what was the fix...and what did it cost? I know that there's no way I'm gonna be able to ignore it.....
