Rattling under acceleration

Under acceleration I have a rattling noise coming from somewhere under my car and the pitch of the rattle varies (sometimes its louder than others). Once the cruise control is set the noise goes away or more less can still be heard slightly but once you give it gas it's back.

It does not make this at idle.

I originally thought the exhaust was loose but it has to play to it.

Any ideas what it might be.

it might be your exhaust system hitting the underside of your truck...my cat was move up from all the 4wheelin i did in the snow this winter. take a look under your car after it cools down and with some kind of a pry bar pull down the exhaust system enough so that it isnt hitting the under side.

i mean this wont cost you anything just give it a try u have nothing to lose:happens:
