yeah i just broke the pins and im just gunna use addhesive to cover it up and put back on

I figure the cost was about $100.00, that's the cost of the 2", 1" square tubing, wheel studs, hinges, and paint. I did end up getting some freebies though. The springs for the latch pin, the latch pin itself, and the bumpers I mounted to absorb the vibrations, were all free stuff, lying around my dad's garage. I also got the licence plate bracket, nuts and bolts for free too. You could probably easily build this for $200.00.

It swings down, so you can get access to the rear cargo area with no issues. I've but all kinds of things back there since putting the carrier on, including camping gear, moving boxes, and even lumber.

badges look great man! i didn't see if you tried the front Toyota emblem but just a heads up you'll need to take your grill off to get that one, its screwed on. I think its the same for all years.

yeahh i got it off without taking the grill off with a small screw driver, but i decided im gunna powder coat the whole gril black so im gunna end up taking it off any ways.

my trailer hitch is v'ed so i woul,d need a new one


i dk where im going to mount it yet. im just trying to get it out of the way so it will be easier too mount a dual exhaust.

Little update, bought sport hood today and taking it down to get painted tomorrow. Also took all trim off and painted black. Had to get new clips from Toyota.

Not to big of diffrence when just driving. but when you flip the brights on there is a huge diffrence.

but i think im gunna do a projector retro fit any ways

Hmm, maybe better to save my money and put it towards a conversion kit then. Thanks for the feedback.

Looks great man! I've been pondering a color change, but can't afford one anyway! HA HA HA! I've always like the Charcoal Color that the New Taco's have.....
