Update on RCI Aluminum Skid Plates for KDSS-equipped

Josh from RCI sent me an email today:

"Full set weight is going to be right under 100lbs (vs. 175 in steel) for all four plates, and that includes a steel transfer case plate and cross-member because as of now we do not offer those two in aluminum."

That's pretty cool. I imagine the OEM skid plates weigh right around 100 lbs and if so--little or no weight gain!

do you know what the weight of the stock skids is?

35 Lbs? or so. Stock suffice as bare minimum.
