RCI fill plate problem

Anyone tried installing the front fill plate from RCI? The plate that goes between the front OEM bumper and the front (engine) armor plate. Can anyone measure the distance from bolt to bolt (bumper skirt bolt to front armor bolt, on center to in center)?

Yes I will call RCI tomorrow but I ran into the problem today.

I measured 9" from the front of the crossmember under the radiator, flat with the ground, to directly under the front bumper bolt.

I'm 8.5" on one side, and less on the other, but that's from bolt hole, on center to bolt hole/on center. How is mine that much less, but the fender and bumper dont appear to have movement on them? There's no indication that the bumper is "pushed in"?

Thoughts? anyone?
