I have had that conversation multiple times over the years with them and they didn't seem interested. Last time I spoke with someone there they said "there is access via the top of the vehicle and you didn't need to jack it up to access underneath" so yea, I am not holding my breath given that comment. Its one of the reasons I have held off buying a set over the years.

There's no access on a 3rd Gen either. Drain plug can be reached through the drain hole in the skid plate, and filter can be reached without having to remove the skids.

i havn't gotten around to purchase anything yet and im still interested in some skids . I was already added, never done this GB thing before, what codes are you talking about?

Go to the first post in this thread. You will find them there. Then go to the RCI website, put whatever you want into your shopping cart and apply the code that applies when you check out.
 
I'm so stoked. Ended up ordering the full skid set w/ a-arms, all aluminum plus the sliders. PO: 0000012321

My three skids are coming tomorrow. Quite impressed with the turn-around time. That said, I'll open the packaging, inspect, then put them in the back of the 4Runner for when I have some time....

Got my 3/16 steel skid in the mail today. Looks awesome! The powdercoating is a nice matte texture, it's a great touch to the product
