Same problem. I hit mine with a hammer but then I also retapped most holes to fit a m10 bolt which I did for this one. Also had to use some washers in between to make it fit and grab

Mine has the same problem of RCI transfer case cross member interferes with oem fuel tank skid. The bolt hole is misaligned by about 5mm

they made it compatible with their fuel tank skid. I have full RCI skids all the way back and I had no issue with that bolt hole.

I ended up cutting off a small piece of overlapping metal from the OEM full tank skid. Took about 5 mins with Dremel. The hard part was to decide to cut
