Ok,

I have read about it many times on this board but I didn't think it affected the 05 V8's, but mine is crackin and it's driving me mad.

My rig is an 05 V8 Limited. I am going to take it to the dealer to have them look but I would put money on it they well not be able to find it.

Anyone else with a 05 V8 Limited with this same issue? Was it resolved and how?

THere is nothing I hate more than leaving my truck at the dealer all day only to pick it up and find they did nothing to solve the problem.

Which seat is 'crackin'? Front seat or the back seat? I didn't think there were any issues with the power seats in the limiteds but I could be wrong.

I have a 04 Limited and my drivers seat makes annoying loud 'popping' noise occassionally when I make turns or go over speed bumps. I think the noise is from the driver's seat track under the seat.

I took it to the dealer and they "could not reproduce the problem" :bash: so I drove with a mechanic. Unfortunately, the noise was not loud enough for them to do anything.

After they make sure all the bolts are tight, I was told to bring it in again when the noise becomes more obvious.

I don't get it on my 4R, but that may just be a factor of driver weight. I'm about 170 or so, and it is VERY rare that I ever get the seat shift.
