Re-gear my thirds

I am looking to re-gear my thirds in the next month or two and wanted to know if anyone knows of a shop in the so cal area yet have experience with or can recommend.

I looked up yotamasters in corona and was quoted 1600 with a lockright In the rear and open front. This price is also for just dropping of the thirds. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Frank at South Bay 4x4 in Hawthorne, google it its on Rosecrans...you wont be disapointed...and you will fall in love with the guy and want to stop by the shop all the time! Been wreching on 4x4s for over 30 years, does all the work for Jarrod Jones and the Off Road magazine and other magazines sometimes too...invites his customers on wheeling trips....is a drivetrain specialist....but also does lifts, custom lifts, custom whatever you can think of on a 4x4, and he owns many 4x4s from an old Willys Jeep he will wheel to a Toyota desert racer...

Not sure if you have had this done yet or not. I have used Unitrax in Anaheim. They have a really good reputation but not sure how their pricing is anymore. I have had three vehicles re-geared through them but last one was 7 years ago. I have also used Anheim gear with really good reults for rebuilding a couple 5 speeds and two diffs.
