Most of the wheels on my T4R have this corrosion on them... before I go ahead this spring with a re-paint, does anyone thing this stuff can be sanded down? its pretty rough.

some of that paint looks loose.I would at least take that off

what i am trying to ask is... i have no experience painting wheels, so from what you can see, does it look like the wheels will clean up and paint well? they feel very rough to the touch (bubbled up). is that just the paint separating from the wheel?

Yea, if you sand them, you can make the entire wheel smooth and look like new after a fresh coat of paint. Focus on your prep work though, the painting is the easy part. They will only look good if you spend plenty of time prepping.

cool. wasnt sure, and didnt want to put my energy towards it if the results were not going to be decent. (plenty of other sh*t to be done!, rad, fogs, some rust... summer is full already LOL)

If you're looking for a similar color to stock, Duplicolor Aluminum is pretty darn close.
