I'm ready to pull the trigger on a 1"front 2"rear lift for my 04 sr5 4x4. Now who and what brand and why? Oh yeah, how much... Please help.

this is what i plan on getting, except the 3/2 as long as i dont think it will make my stock tires look like donuts until i have $ to get new tires


its cheap and seems rather easy to install

I'm afraid of what that 3rd inch would do to the pitch on the CV joints, and ball joints. 3 inches is alot for those components.

I thought the same thing on my lift, but 3 inches doesn't hurt. Anything more, as you will read on other posts on here will cause damage and put strain on your cv and ball joints. As for worrying about your stock tires looking like donuts... anyone that knows anything about off road vehicles will know what your plan is. Most people lift then figure out size of tires later. If you don't lift it the first time to the height you want, you will be spending more time and more money to do it right the second time around if at all.

I have never seen a 1/2 lift, do you mean 2/1 (that is to say, 2inches front, 1 inch rear)

If not, what makes you want to get a 1/2?

Yea, yea... 2/1. I had a 3/1 on my Titan and it looked like the CV's were pretty buckled and the UCA's would hit the top of the coil bucket when you etended them a little more. I.e. speedbump, pothole.

I was just throwing that out for your benifit as an option. I saw them out there, and wondered if anyone had anything to say about them.

I've been selling the above 3.2 kit for over 4 years, and not one issue. On other brand vehicles, it can be an issue, but there is no issue on this one.

Also, there are other sizes to choose from on that link above, and YES, I can have any size custom made.
