Ready to pull the trigger but quick question

So ordered a set of 265-75-16 Goodyear Duratracs today and ready to order my lift. Exchanged some emails with Wheelers yesterday on what I was trying to accomplish and they recommended the 5100's paired with 881's in the front and the Eibach Pro-Lift rear springs with 5100's. I'm trying to net about a 2" lift all the way around with a level stance and a "softish" ride. It will only see a little wheeling and probably won't be adding any bumpers for a while.

First question is will I really see 2" of lift from the Eibach springs? My factory rears hit the bump stops with any kind of weight in the back and hitting bumps.

Second question is does anyone have any experience with how these ride? The most I normally carry is my 3 kids and my 90lb lab. Mostly unladen with me running back and forth to work.

Not me.

I ran 5100 all around but kept the factory coils up front and just put on the clip that gave me 2" of lift. The backs were OME ( cant remember off hand the coil)

I think using the front coil makes the front a little springy but overall its decent. It only cost me like $500 total from wheelers back in 2014.

Most people go with OME 906 for 2" rear lift. Eibach rear coils might be good if that's what Wheeler recommended but haven't heard of anyone running those for 3rd gens yet.

My opinion, I would avoid a level lift & recommend having the rear atleast 1" higher than the front to compensate for cargo gear, passengers, etc. If you're wanting 2" in the rear, then lift the front 1". If you're wanting 2" in the front, lift the rear 3". Most rear coils for a 2-3" lift will decrease about .25-.5" as you start adding a couple hundred pounds of cargo gear. You can expect most lifts above stock height to ride noticeably stiffer than oem but still fine as a daily driver in my opinion

Yeah the more I think about it I think I might just run the 906's in the rear with the 5100s. I think Wheeler was afraid that would give me too much lift in the rear for the more leveled look though. I'm thinking the 2881 coils with the 5100's in the front should net me about 2.25" of lift and the 906s are supposed to be about 2" so hopefully that will keep it fairly level and not be too stiff.
