I make my own gas, just buy the Costco $1 cheap white wine by the case and mix in some octane booster
I always fill up with Mobil 87 and everything is stock, my high mileage is 98-99% all highway only reason I slow down is to fill up, nothing mixed, my mixed driving is usually 13-17mpg

:
I drive with a lead foot, I took it easy during the 1st 1000 miles but still gave it enough gas to get the oil pumping but after I hit 1000 miles I drive with the pedal to the floor
My mileage computer that suppost to calculate the amount of miles to gallons is always adding 3, so if it says Im getting 18 Im really getting 15

The range til empty varies by your driving style, I went 100 miles on the highway and the range only dropped 20miles.
Another thing is the 4Runner and other vehicles have a mileage improvement when I hit 20k, knowing as much as I do about cars, 20k is the fully broken in point, in stock form thats when you will see your highest performance potential and gas mileage results, I've seen with some Chevys and Dodges that even after 20k the cams where not fully worn in.
Like they say all 4Runners are the same but depending on driving conditons and the driver and everything else they can acheive different mileage results:awais:
