Chistopher Dampiers mother (Evie Fivgas Dampier) has been battling the cruel disease of ALS for two years now and sadly her battle seems to be coming to an end. Not only does ALS put a huge burden on a family as they watch a loved one struggle through a horrible disease, but it puts a large strain on a family’s finances. The medical needs and bills have placed Chris in a very tough position and he continues to work hard to support his family in their time of need while his dad stays at home to care for his mother. Chris recently approached me in efforts of raising some more money for his mother’s medical bills by hand tying paracord grab handles for Toyota offroad vehicles. Talented at what he does, Chris has sold dozens of grab handles through my site in a couple of months with nothing but positive feedback from customers. While the extra income has helped, it won’t be nearly enough to cover the large amount of medical bills that have accumulated. Well known in the overland and Toyota community, Chris has always been there for people in need of support. It’s now time for us to give back to a great man and wonderful family. Whether it is $5 or $50 the money will be greatly appreciate and go a long way in supporting Chris and his family in this rough time.
