Reality check?!? Header/clutch install...

I am need of replacing my clutch and have a set of DT headers and high flow cat to install. Hearing prior comments about header install being a PITA I thought I would get a quote for both jobs...(and rear main seal at the same time). My parts for clutch (Marlin Crawler), cat (Magnaflow). I thought I would ask the stealership first (doubt anyone would be more)...quoted for ~$2k for all.

I think this is crazy but it begs the question how much is this job worth?

Or should I just do the clutch myself and have someone else do the headers?

Or do I go all in and do it all? I am good with a wrench but the header job sounds like torture and I work out of my driveway...

Opening a can of worms here but what do those have done headers themselves and/or had them installed think?

Thanks,
Beach

I haven't done the header, but clutch job and rear main are easy and would save you over $400 bucks at least.. in labor costs. I always do as much as I can myself. After hearing some quotes the shops give out haha

You could pull the engine instead of the transmission to do the clutch and main seal. Then change the headers while the engine is out.
