Really strage sound...pls help!

I just got my Black '04 4x4 V8 w/ sport package today. And there's a really strange noise coming from the front passenger side either under the floorboard or somewhere close to the floorboard.

When I turn left (and only when I turn left), there's a hissing sound like water being poured on a hot stove or sand being shuffled (a "shhhhhhhhh" sound). When I turn off the radio and all other accessories and listen very carefully when just driving, I can hear a reservoir of water sloshing ever so slightly from the front right side.

I did three left circles in my cul-de-sac and the sound was present the entire time. If water is pouring out of something, it's like it's a never ending supply because the sloshing sound never goes away and the hissing/steam sound is always there (it never goes away as would happen if the water ran out).

WTF???

Also...is there a way to keep the hood up? It has the hydrolic arms but doesn't stay up by itself.

I can't help with the sound. You sure it's not the tires rubbing on the asphalt? As for the hood; your pneumatics are shot. Get a stick!

Yeah, hood truts are shot. Should be able toget some decent replacements online or if you have moneyto spend the dealer can get you some at their mark-up.

As for the sound, I can't say for sure since I am not there to hear the sound, but it sounds like the P/S pump or rack has something funky going on...

When you tun your wheel to the left, do you do it all the way lock to lock? If you notice when you do that and hold it there, the power steering will make a sort os "shhh" noise, is that similar to what you are experiencing? As for the fluid sloshing around, are you sure its coming from the front?

Took it to my trusted mechanic today. It was a clogged A/C condensation line. It was completely filling with water from the A/C and when turning left, water was being pulled out of it, hitting the exhaust and steaming instantly.

He unclogged it and all is well.
