Rear Air Deflector Measurement Question

Can someone please get me the measurement from the top of the hatch (where it lines up to the roof) to the top of the rear air deflector bracket?
(3rd Gen 4Runner)

I have the template laying around here somewhere if you are mounting one... even then it's best to have another 3rd gen within measuring distance-there are a couple of varieties of rear spoilers...

let's see a visual so we can be sure we are comparing apples to apples.

Ron, thanks for the help. I actually just pm'd you on YT. Your spoiler looks exactly like the one I am putting on. If you get a chance to even grab the measurement that would be great,
I have the instal instructions but I am not sure on what the body line reference is to. If it is to the body right at the window molding or to the body line that runs about an inch above it.
I got mine from Toyota of Dallas, but it did not have a template.

i just lined mine up ..drilled and screwed in..still holding up and looks perfect

Ya, it just so happens that I am extremely OCD... So can anyone confirm 2.25 inches?
from top of bracket to top of hatch?

Forgot to reply and thank you for your help, which is much appreciated. It went smooth, though I messed up the bottom rivnuts. A trip to the nearest fastener store and all done.

So I am looking at purchasing a deflector for my 01 that came off a totaled '98. They guy has a new install kit (bolts and rivnuts) but no template.

It doesnt appear you used a template. Overall how did the install go? Any tips to look out for? Any chance you can shoot me measurements as well? i am a little OCD too! LOL.

I just stopped into the Toyota dealership to ask them about a template for the rear deflector. The parts manager said the deflector and all other parts associated with it have been discontinued. :violin:

Can anyone shoot me some layout dimensions for the drill holes or were the finish out ends up?
