Right again in these seals!! Got another two kits from Marlin Crawler, and then a set of OEM Toyota seals on order. Damnit!!

Well, at least you know the job and you can get it done no problem. I've done this job over a dozen times for different people. I was getting hit up for this so often I finally had to start saying no. I didn't feel right charging people a lot of money for my help so I was doing the axle seal job and the rear brakes for $200 labor. But, after realizing I was getting burnt out helping people with this job and others, I had to make the decision that my time was best spent making new videos than repeating a common repair over and over again. It sucks I had to turn people down, but the burn-out I was feeling was very real so I had to stop.

The Marlin Crawler kit uses the same "old design" seals as the ones you used from Low Range (unless they updated the design).

But the OEM Toyota seals should be the new compliant design.

Yeah, I ended up ordering a set of 3 OEM Toyota seals along with the Marlin Crawler kit.

Hey man, I really can't thank you enough for making this post. I just received my Marlin Crawler service kit (link) and I was looking at the seals and thinking about whether it would seal better or worse than the OEM seal. I'm glad I found your posts -- I'm gonna order 3x OEM seals from Amazon right now.

The Nachi bearings in the kit are supposedly OEM-equivalents. Here are pics of the PN for anyone looking to save some money on bearings:
