With the proper tools, equipment, and experience, it could easily be swapped in an hour.

That is not to say that any shop will charge just by the time it actually takes.

They will charge book time.

Sure.

I'd replace all the rusty fasteners, so if they didn't come apart easily, I'd cut the bolts. With a lift, and another portable lift to hold the axle, it would be a piece of cake.






If you're doing this job in your driveway, with jackstands and a floor jack, then of course it will take longer.
