Rear bilsteins??

Where can I fine rear shocks for my 06 SE? What is the part #? Thanks!!

Bilstein model # is: AK7110SB04= 10" short body reservoir, ext length: 24.29, col length 14.06. The valving is the 04= 255/70.

Rancho also makes rears for the 4R, I replaced my XREAS with Rancho RSX and 9000 adjustables in the front...found out they also can make em adjustable on the rear so Im supposed to go back to have em swapped out.....

Sorry, still haven't got the part number but whoever is doing the install, If they do RANCHO they could contact the company.

Can I keep the stock springs because I dont wanto lift the rear?

Only fronts had Coils and I replaced them with stock (new ones) but yeah essentially just struts and shocks change out if you want....dont know about any coilovers however, would like to know if Rancho makes them for the 4R

That is the valving someone I know uses. They are very happy with them. As with the size I believe pretty much everyone with a 4th gen 4runner is using 10" Short Body. The length needs to be the 14.06 shock and your coil springs will need to be 16" or longer.

I'm running the 7100s - they are very nice indeed. I had them installed by Demello.

Definitely give Demello (Jason) a call. He has firsthand knowledge of what works best and can give you good information and decent pricing.

If you're looking to lift the truck, a good combo is Donahoe coilovers in the front, with Deaver coil springs and Bilstein shocks in the rear. Jason has found this provides a nice ride along with good off-road capabilities for both the 4Runner and FJ Cruiser.

If you're willing to wait for an indefinite period of time, Donahoe might be coming out with some rear shocks in the (dare I say "near") future. Those would be comparable to the Bilsteins, if not better matched to the front coilovers.

You might want to consider rear donahoes. They just came out and are awesome. $200 for the pair.

Bilsteins require more maintenance you have to check the nitrogen psi periodicly and keep it on par.

They also require some modifications if you have larger tires. Demello sells the conversion for $500.

My friend who works as a sales manager at Findlay has been testing rear Donahoe prototypes and he is extremely happy with them.
