Rear brake noise anyone?

I put new rear axle seals in about a month ago and replaced rear shoes / cleaned everything.

About a week ago the rear brakes started to squeal right before coming to a stop. I took the drums off and everything was clean with no evidence of gear oil seepage.

I scuffed the shoes with some sandpaper and cleaned everything again though they were already spotless. This helped for about a week but
they started to squeal again today.

I have searched the forum with no luck.

Are they cheap shoes?

Have the drums turned or replace them.

The shoes were cheap. Probably $15 at Auto Zone. It was the only shoe they stocked. Maybe I should get some from the dealer?

I didn't realize turning the drums could help. I honetly didn't know drums ever needed to be turned...

Any other thoughts?
