Rear brake not working

After getting my tires rotated today at the tire shop (they only do tires) the guys had tested my brakes and said the left rear caliper was not engaging. I have not noticed anything but read alot on other forums about the front calipers freezing up (but nothing about the rear).

Any thoughts on the rear?
I suspect if may have frozen but may test myself. I think the front have 2 pistons and seems the lower freezes and I wonder if the rear have 2 pistons as well.

The rear calipers are not the same as the 4 piston fronts. They are a single piston caliper, cross pull design. If it truly not working, it could be the piston frozen, or the caliper slide points frozen. If you are familiar with disk brakes, it shouldn't be to hard to determine what is going on. If not, take it to a good brake shop for an evaluation.
